Coach Mike Faherty

We are privileged to have Coach Mike Faherty join Klein Oak Baseball this year as a new volunteer assistant coach.

Coach Faherty graduated from Cy-Creek High School in 2001 where he was a two sport letterman in football and baseball. He was nominated to play in the All-Greater Houston All-Star game in baseball.

Coach Faherty continued his studies at Richland Jr. College(2001-2003) where he earned his associates degree. He was a member of the baseball team that won back-to-back national championships. He received the 110% award both years he attended Richland.

Coach Faherty then attended Sam Houston State University where he received his bachelors degree in Kineisiology with a minor in Math. He got his teaching certification through Lonestar College and now teaches at Klein Collins High School.

Coach Faherty has coached the Houston Raiders 18U teams for the past five years now and is looking forward to helping out Klein Oak players this year.
